Let’s improve life — starting with your career. Letshego Financial Services Uganda is seeking twenty (20) energetic, target-driven Loans Officers to grow our portfolio at the Bugolobi Loan Center. In this field-based role you will mobilise new customers, promote our credit and insurance-bundled products to public- and private-sector employees, and build lasting client relationships — turning every lead into a loyal Letshego customer while upholding the inclusive-finance promise that has made us a trusted name across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Letshego loan products to new and existing customers within the Bugolobi catchment area.
- Generate leads through field marketing, client referrals, community mobilisation and partner institutions.
- Achieve agreed weekly and monthly sales targets set by the Branch Manager.
- Conduct customer needs assessments, prepare complete loan documentation and follow through to disbursement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, employers and community stakeholders.
- Uphold Letshego's credit policy, KYC standards and code of conduct at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum S.4 certificate (UCE) or higher academic qualification, plus a valid National ID.
- At least one (1) year in sales, microfinance or a customer-facing role — ambitious fresh school leavers are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong persuasion and interpersonal ability.
- Self-starter who works well under minimal supervision and meets tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work in the field within the assigned catchment area.
- Highest standards of integrity, accuracy and customer care.
